Where URL QR codes help
Use one anywhere you want people to open a web page from print or a screen:
- Flyers, standees and packaging that lead to a product or order page.
- Google Forms for surveys and event sign-ups.
- Your shop’s location on Google Maps.
- Presentation slides that point to reference material.
Tips for codes that scan easily
Shorter links make sparser codes that scan faster. If your link is long because of tracking parameters, shorten it first.
This is a static code: the link is stored in the code. If the page moves, make a new code or set up a redirect from the old address on your website.
Before a large print run, print one copy and scan it with both an iPhone and an Android phone.
Frequently asked questions
What if I leave out https://?
That’s fine. The generator adds https:// when you type something like gpit.vn.
Can I see how many times it was scanned?
Not yet. Static codes open your page directly, so scans never pass through our server. Add UTM parameters to the link to measure scans in Google Analytics.
Will the code expire?
No. It keeps working as long as your web page is online.
